A build planning committee was established and is developing plans to begin preparing and marking the site in mid-April. Building activities will start soon after, once the site is dry enough for materials to be delivered.

Phase 1 Build and NCC Approved Area

Garden Elements

We recently received approval to build a garden on a parcel of NCC land between Goldenrod Drive in the Tunney's Pasture Complex and the SJAM Parkway. The garden location is just west of the Parkdale off-ramp of the SJAM Parkway.

We are looking for volunteers from Hintonburg, Mechanicsville, Champlain Park and Wesboro to help build the garden as soon as the snow melts in the spring of 2021. Learn how to get involved with current volunteer positions.
