The Goldenrod Community Garden Board is run by plot volunteers and the garden wouldn't be possible without its Board. Board members generally meet virtually once or twice a month to coordinate garden maintenance, communications, events and registration. 


If you believe in the garden and think you could help with the Board, please consider applying to be a board member at our AGM. Feel free to reach out to goldenrodregistrar@gmail.com if you have any questions before the AGM.

Agenda:

  • 6:30 to 7 pm: Meet other gardeners and participate in a seed swap. Food and refreshments will be served.

  • 7 to 8 pm: Goldenrod Community Garden Annual General Meeting (AGM)

We are closing the garden on Saturday, October 25, at both garden sites. We need volunteers to help with maintenance tasks. 


  • Parkdale/Bullman site: 10 am to noon

  • Goldenrod site: 10 am to 2 pm


Please clean your plot on or before October 25th to remove dead and dying plants. You can leave healthy and producing plants in place so long as your plot is clean and tidy.  


On closing day, volunteers will ensure that dead and dying plants and tall structures have been removed from all plots.
