Join fellow gardeners to learn about Indigenous plants and traditional food systems, and gain practical tips on staking and maintaining healthy tomato plants.

🌿 Connecting to Indigenous Plants and Traditional Food Systems


Learn how urban Indigenous youth are connecting to the land and practicing Indigenous food sovereignty through community gardening. This session includes storytelling and plant identification focused on Indigenous plants and their cultural significance.


🍅 Learn How to Stake and Prune Tomatoes


Learn about different techniques to support healthy tomato growth and improve your harvest.


Beverages & Bites


Light refreshments will be provided.
